In the last 24 hours, 26 more people have died due to coronavirus in the country. Among them 19 are males and 7 are females. All of them died at the hospital. The total death toll stood at 12,102.

At the same time, 848 new corona patients have been identified. On March 08, the Department of Health reported the identification of 845 people in the body of Corona, that is, after 9 weeks and four days, the Department of Health reported the lowest identification on Eid day. The total number of identified patients is seven lakh 79 thousand 535 people.

Additional Director (Administration) of the Department of Health, Prof. Nasima Sultana gave this information on Friday, May 14.

At the same time, 7,567 samples were collected and 7,835 samples were tested in 459 public and private laboratories. The total number of sample tests stood at 56 lakh 98 thousand 528. Compared to the sample test, the detection rate is 10.82 percent. Compared to the total test, the detection rate is 13.68 percent.

It is also said that 852 people have been exempted from tax in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 7 lakh 20 thousand 471 people have recovered. The recovery rate is 92.42 percent.
