29th Chattogram trade fair starts today

The 29th Chattogram International Trade Fair is starting today, May 31st.


The country's second-largest trade fair is being held in two years due to the Corona pandemic. Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi will inaugurate the month-long fair at Chattogram Railway Polo Ground this afternoon.

Small and medium entrepreneurs from different parts of the country will showcase their products at the fair organized by the Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI). At the same time, the big corporates of the country will keep their product collections open to the public in different pavilions to expand their products.

According to CCCI sources, a modern Bangabandhu Pavilion is being set up at this year's fair. Arrangements will be made to display various books and publications on Bangabandhu's autobiography and liberation war with the help of the lighthouse. The scope of this year's fair will be about four lakh square feet.

More than 310 companies will participate in 370 stalls with 17 Premier Pavilions, 33 Premier Stalls, 99 Gold Stalls, 48 ​​Mega Stalls, 14 Food Stalls and two separate zones. For the visitors, like last time, the ticket price has been fixed at 15 takas.
