31 Arrested in Anti-Drug Operations: DMP News Report

Dhaka Metropolitan Police DMP has arrested 31 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs while conducting anti-drug operations in different areas of the capital.

During the arrest, 31, 20250 pieces of yaba, 15 kg 60 gm of cannabis, 83 gm of heroin, 10 bottles of liquor and 83 bottles of phensedyl were recovered from their custody.

As part of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police's regular anti-drug drive, they raided various police stations in the capital from 6 am on Friday, April 29, 2022, to 6 am today and recovered drugs.

Nineteen cases have been registered against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act.
