3G-4G internet service on mobile phone shut down across country

News is coming from different districts of the country that high-speed internet service is not available on mobile phones. According to the operator, high-speed 3G and 4G internet are off on mobile phones from 5 am on Friday.

Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar said, "It may have been due to a technical glitch. Maybe there was an unavoidable situation that could not be avoided. But I don't think the problem will last long. Initiatives have been taken to resolve the issue.

The statement of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) in this regard was not initially available.

This morning, a media worker from Khulna said over the phone that he was not getting an internet connection on his mobile phone. He wants to know if the internet is off.

A resident of the capital Badda Al-Amin Sajib said that he has not been getting internet through data on his mobile phone since morning. However, he can get internet using WiFi at home.

Mahbub Alam, a resident of Mirpur, said he got internet using WiFi at home in the morning.

After leaving home, he did not get any data or internet on his mobile phone.

Mohammadpur resident Jawad Hossain said, he has not been getting internet on his mobile phone since morning.

Last Wednesday, high-speed mobile internet was shut down in Cumilla. Then the internet was gradually shut down in five more districts.

The districts where high-speed internet service has been shut down are Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Brahmanbaria, Rajshahi, and Chandpur.

Talking to customers, it is known that they are not able to use 3G and 4G internet on their mobile phones.
