A recent oxygen crisis at a hospital in Indonesia has killed at least 63 patients. The news was reported by the media Voice of America.

It is known that last weekend the city of Yogyakarta. Authorities at Saradjito General Hospital tried to replace the oxygen cylinder to alleviate the oxygen crisis. However, it did not save the lives of 63 covid patients. Corona infection rates have risen across Indonesia, including the city of Yogyakarta.

Dr. Rukman Siswishant, director of Saradjito Hospital, said in a statement on Sunday, "Attempts have been made to replace more oxygen cylinders, including the 100 cylinders provided by the Yogyakarta regional police. But, by then, it's too late."

Hospitals are being forced to set up intensive care units and quarantine centers on an emergency basis due to the recent rise in novel coronavirus infections in Indonesia.
