Army will be on field again from July 23

After eight days of relaxation, there will be strict restrictions again from July 23 to August 5. At this time, as per the previous restrictions, the army will be on the ground with the police, BGB and RAB.

On Tuesday, July 13, the ongoing restrictions were relaxed for eight days (July 14 from midnight to 6 am on July 23) and for 14 more days (July 23 from 6 am to 12 noon on August 5), the Cabinet Division issued a circular imposing strict restrictions. .

In the case of strict restrictions, 23 conditions have been given in the notification. It said the Armed Forces would deploy the required number of troops to ensure effective patrols in the field under the 'Army in Aid to Civil Power' provision. The district magistrate will confirm the matter by contacting the local army commander.

It further said that the district magistrate will hold a coordination meeting with the concerned officers at the district level to determine the jurisdiction, procedure and time of recruitment and patrol of army, BGB / Coast Guard, police, RAB and Ansar. At the same time, if you need any special activities locally, you will take steps in that regard. The concerned ministry / department will provide necessary instructions in this regard at the field level.

The circular said that the Ministry of Public Administration will ensure the appointment of the required number of executive magistrates at the field level. Under the Infectious Diseases (Prevention, Control and Eradication) Act, 2018, the Director General of Health will empower the district administration and police to take legal action.
