45 Arrested in Anti-Drug Operations
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 45 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs while conducting anti-drug operations in different areas of the capital.
During the arrest, 7360 pieces of yaba, 6 kg 225 gm of cannabis, 436 gm of (510 puria) heroin and 1420 bottles of phensedyl were recovered from their custody.
As part of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police's regular anti-drug drive, they raided various police stations in the capital on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 6am to 6am today and recovered drugs, including arrests.
A total of 32 cases have been registered against the arrested persons under the Narcotics Control Act.
