Arrested with cannabis-Phensedyl in Kurigram

Three people have been arrested with 14 kg of cannabis and 202 bottles of Phensedyl from a house in Alam Para of Kurigram municipal town.

Kurigram Sadar Police arrested them on Monday, january 25 at night on the basis of secret information.

The arrested are Khorshed Alam alias Hurka, son of Abdul Mannan of Kurigram municipal town, Hurkar's sister Monica alias Munni and Jasim Uddin, son of late Abdus Salam.

It is known that under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Utpal Kumar Roy under the direction of Kurigram Superintendent of Police Syeda Jannat Ara, three persons were arrested from a house in Alam Para-mahalla of Kurigram Municipality with 14 kg of cannabis and 202 bottles of Phensedyl.

Also seized from the scene were a motorcycle, a mobile phone, with a press sticker used in the drug trade. Jasim introduced himself as a journalist.

Kurigram Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Khan Shahriar said a case has been filed against the detainees under the Narcotics Control Act. He will be sent to Kurigram Jail on Tuesday, January 26.
