Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has warned that the government will respond appropriately if someone wants to fish in the muddy waters by creating violence in the name of the movement.

Obaidul Quader issued the warning at a regular briefing at his official residence on Wednesday, June 9.

"The BNP's Multi-party system democracy was a multi-party joke," he said.

To go to power, Mr. Fakhrul is looking through colorful spectacles.

Obaidul Quader said that the people laughed when they heard the shameless statement of the BNP leaders that the Awami League has killed democracy.

"The BNP killed democracy by forming yes-no vote," he said.

Reminding the BNP leaders, Obaidul Quader said, "The democracy of the BNP was a curfew democracy."
