In Abroad, Awami League has no Lords, it has friends

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said, there are many BNP lords abroad. They complained to the lords. On the other hand, the Awami League does not have a lord abroad, it has friends.


He said the Awami League is not a hostage to any force. Their strength is the people of this country.

Obaidul Quader made the remarks while distributing Eid gifts among the helpless and destitute on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Bangabandhu Avenue on Sunday, May 1st, at the initiative of the AL Relief and Social Welfare Sub-Committee.

The AL general secretary said Bangladesh could ask India for help on the unresolved issue of Teesta River sharing. Because it is in the national interest. After 21 years of conflict, the country has not gained anything, but has suffered.

Obaidul Quader further said Awami League reaches first in every crisis and disaster in this country. The AL is never disappointed in crisis and calamity. Everyone is working under the strong and wise leadership of Sheikh Hasina.

On the occasion of the great May Day, the General Secretary of the Awami League greeted the working and hardworking people.

AL presidium member Begum Matia Chowdhury presided over the function while AL central executive committee member Dr. Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, relief and social welfare secretary Sujit Roy Nandi, agriculture and cooperatives affairs secretary Faridunnahar Laili and health and population affairs secretary Dr. Rokeya Sulara spoke.

Later, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader and other leaders distributed Eid gifts to the helpless and destitute through various social and political organizations.
