The Pakistan cricket team has come to Bangladesh to play two Tests and three T20s. The team that came to Bangladesh after six years to play a bilateral series is having a good time.

Despite being a rival team, they are getting support from the supporters of Bangladesh, said Pakistan captain Babar Azam.

Not only this time, Babar thinks that Bangladesh cricket fans have always supported Pakistan.

At the official press conference on the eve of the first T20 to be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on November 19, the Pakistan captain said he liked the Bangladesh supporters.

Babar Azam said, "Whenever we went to practice, people stood all the way. Cheered us up, shook hands. So I think we have a lot of supporters here beside Bangladesh. People saw us during practice and cheered us up."

"For the first time since Covid, cricket lovers are allowed to enter, it's great. As a cricketer, as a team, we will enjoy and whenever we come to Bangladesh, the spectators cheer us up all the time. They have supported not only their own team but also the Pakistan team. It makes us feel good," Babar added.

Pakistan came to Bangladesh on 13 November. After a day's rest, the visitors started practicing at the academy ground in Mirpur. Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik joined the team two days later.

Pakistan will play three Twenty20 matches against Bangladesh in four days. The second T20 will be held on November 20. The last T20 of the three-match series will be on November 22.

All the matches will start at 2 pm in Mirpur. Then Bangladesh-Pakistan will play a two-match Test series.
