162 Bangladeshi migrants return home from Libya

162 Bangladeshi migrants who were in various detention centers in Libya have returned home.

The plane carrying them landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday, May 12 in a joint effort of the Bangladesh Embassy in Tripoli and IOM.

According to the Consular and Welfare Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Migration Agency (IOM).

According to IOM sources, these 162 Bangladeshi migrants who were in various detention centers in Libya.

Sources at the Foreign Ministry's Consular and Welfare Division said they were currently at the airport. After collecting various information, they may be handed over to the family.
