Banking activities will resume from tomorrow for limited hours to control the transmission of novel coronavirus. The branch will be open as per the demand of the customers from Sunday after the end of Eid holiday. Transactions will be done in the bank from 10 am to 1.30 pm. Post-transactional ancillary activities must be completed by 3 p.m.

On July 13, the Department of Off-site Supervision of Bangladesh Bank issued guidelines on the introduction of banking activities within the restrictions imposed by the government.

According to the directive, the bank will be open for a limited period of time from July 25 to August 5, 2021 (excluding weekly holidays) due to the situation of coronavirus infection (Covid-19). At this time, transactions will be done in the bank from 10 am to 1.30 pm. The bank will be open till 3 pm to complete post-transaction ancillary activities.

The bank will be able to keep the required number of branches open at its own discretion, including the essential departments of the head office of the bank, through a limited number of manpower in strict compliance with hygiene rules including wearing of masks.
