Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that people are confused today seeing different demands of BNP leaders from time to time. He said, what does the BNP really want? Sometimes they want a caretaker government, sometimes they want a neutral government, and sometimes they want a national government.

The bridge minister said, it is now the question of the people, what does the BNP really want? Which they themselves do not know. He made the remarks at a briefing at his residence on Sunday morning, May 15th.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, "People are now looking at the BNP leaders." In response, Obaidul Quader said, "People are not really looking. There is no point in looking at the people who have failed in the movement and elections and have not even been able to hold a procession for the release of the party chairperson.

The BNP secretary-general said that the country and the nation are now going through a transition period. The general secretary of the Awami League also mentioned that BNP is now on the edge of the abyss while engaging in negative politics.

Mirza Fakhrul said that the decision of which way the country will go will be decided on the highway. We welcome any of their peaceful political activities.

At the same time, the minister warned the BNP leaders that if in the name of the movement, arson is carried out again, arson is carried out, innocent people are burnt to death with petrol bombs, houses of minorities are attacked, and above all, if BNP tries to lead the country to destruction. In order to protect the lives and property of the people, a proper response will be given along with the countrymen.

Distorting his statement, Mirza Fakhrul repeatedly talks about smuggling. In this context, the general secretary of the Awami League said that their leader Tareq Rahman was convicted, a fugitive accused and smuggled 22,000 crore rupees from Bangladesh. The FBI investigated and found him and testified in a Bangladeshi court.
