'BNP should come to politics by avoiding undemocratic approach'

Staff Correspondent

In a statement issued here today, June 01, the Awami League general secretary called upon the BNP leaders to return to the path of public welfare by avoiding undemocratic methods.

Awami League General Secretary for Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said that the BNP is trying to create a so-called platform with the defectors and the opposition.

In the statement, Obaidul Quader said, "After the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family, the founding military dictator Ziaur Rahman introduced so-called multi-party democracy in the country by destroying the country's constitution and democracy."

Obaidul Quader also said that the BNP is still trying to create a so-called multi-party platform with anti-liberation forces, anti-independence political parties and defecting leaders. This platform of the so-called movement to liberate the corrupt leadership is basically a platform to disrupt the peace and security of the people and the country.

Even the humanitarian Sheikh Hasina has kept Khaleda Zia, who was convicted of corruption, in her own home and given her the opportunity to receive advanced treatment. But the BNP is trying to create a new platform under the direction of Tarique Zia, the fugitive convict convicted of the August 21 grenade attack, the mastermind of the August 21 grenade attack, as part of a deep conspiracy against the country and the nation.

The people of the country know very well that the people and the enemies of the people never do anything for the welfare of the people in the field of politics and if they are united then the suffering of the people increases. The nature of these anti-gambling forces is exposed to the nation. Bangladesh Awami League wants to keep the people of the country away from the shadow of this evil force by uniting the people in the light of the spirit of the liberation war.

Calling on the BNP leaders to avoid undemocratic approaches and come to the path of public welfare politics, Quader said, "Be prepared to participate in the elections without engaging in anti-national conspiracies and without destroying the democratic system." Otherwise, it will be rejected by the people as always. I hope your good intellect will emerge.
