Book fair to end today

Unlike before, there was not a huge crowd of writers and readers at this year's book fair. However, this time the situation was better than last time. Even then, the book fair became a gathering place for readers and writers. That reunion is coming to an end today.
Although the book fair starts from February 1 every year, this time it has started from February 15 due to Corona. On the same afternoon, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced the inauguration of the book fair by virtually joining Ganobhaban.
The main theme of this year's book fair was 'Birth Centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Golden Jubilee of Independence.'
The book fair was open every day from 2 pm to 9 pm. Holidays run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The book fair was held on the premises of Bangla Academy and the historic Suhrawardy Udyan in an area of about 6 lakh square feet. The fair has a total of 35 pavilions with 142 units for 102 institutions in the academy premises and 634 units for 432 institutions in the Suhrawardy Udyan section; A total of 6 units have been allotted to 534 organizations in this fair.
