10 shops burnt to ashes in Brahmanbaria

At least 10 shops have been gutted in a devastating fire in Brahmanbaria's Kasba upazila. The fire broke out at Nayanpur Bazar of the upazila on Sunday., May 16 at night. The traders are claiming that there has been a loss of several crores of rupees.

Siddiqur Rahman, general secretary of the market committee, said, "We don't know how the fire started." When I got the news, I saw that the market was on fire. After informing the fire service, they brought the fire under control. The fire caused crores of rupees in damages.

Saidul Islam, who is in charge of the service station in Kasba Faya, said the fire was brought under control after trying for about two hours. Initially, it is believed that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit. The fire burned 10 shops, including an oil and gas cylinder shop and a chicken shop.
