Iran freed Zaghari-Ratcliffe

Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Anoosheh Ashoori have been brought together with their families in the UK after years of detention in Iran.

The British Iranian nationals were met by their friends & families at RAF Brize Norton in the early hours of Thursday.

Mrs. Zaghari-Ratcliffe's seven-year-old girl Gabriella raced to embrace her mom, who she had not found in years,

Also, Mr. Ashoori's little girl Elika talked about her satisfaction at finally seeing her dad once more.

Mrs. Zaghari-Ratcliffe, 43, and Mr. Ashoori, 67, finally left Tehran on Wednesday after their release was secured following months of negotiations.

Richard Ratcliffe's sister Rebecca said "a little girl has finally got her mummy and daddy back"

UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said the pair's release had been uncertain until the last minute, yet both Nazanin and Annoosheh were feeling great.

Mrs. Zaghari-Ratcliffe's MP Tulip Siddiq said Gabriella had inquired as to whether her dad was "pulling her leg" about her mom returning home and had inquired as to whether it was actually the situation when she saw them.

"My heart recently broke," she said, adding that when she affirmed it, Gabriella began playing the piano and singing.
