A huge mass grave has been found on the site of a former Indigenous school in Canada. The bodies of at least 215 children were found there. Among them are only three year old children also.

According to the BBC, the children were students at Kamloops Indian Residential School in British Columbia. The school was closed in 1978.

The information about the mass grave at the school site came to light for the first time last Thursday.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called it "a shameful chapter in the country's history."
