SI killed in Cumilla car crash

A policeman named Jahangir Alam (46) was killed in Cumilla Dhaka-Chattogram highway while performing duties. An unidentified car crushed him.

The incident took place in the Daudkandi Toll Plaza area around 1 am on Friday, February 19.

Jahangir Alam was working as Sub-Inspector of Daudkandi Highway Police. His home is in the Sherpur district.

Daudkandi Highway Police Officer (OC) Zahurul Haque has confirmed the matter.

He said the unidentified vehicle has not yet been identified. Preparations are underway to file a case in this regard.
