CNG filling stations across the country will be closed for six hours every day during the month of Ramadan from 5 pm to 11 pm.

This information was given in a press release of the state-owned Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources Corporation (Petrobangla) on Wednesday, March 30.

From the beginning of Ramadan, all CNG filling stations in the country will be closed for six hours from 5 pm to 11 pm instead of Eid-ul-Fitr from 6 pm to 11 pm.

Petrobangla's latest decision comes after CNG stations were closed for one hour during the holy month of Ramadan in the wake of instability in the global energy market due to Russia's aggression in Ukraine.

In the notification, Petrobangla has expressed 'sincere sorrow' for this temporary inconvenience.
