Two more people have been admitted to Chattogram Medical College (CMC) Hospital in critical condition. They are Abul Hossain (65) and Jamir Hossain (48).

The incident took place around 10:30 am on Saturday, December 4.

Inspector (investigation) of Panchlaish police station and officer-in-charge of Chattogram Medical College police outpost Sadekur Rahman confirmed the information.

According to the Chattogram Medical College police outpost, the slain police constable was working in Monir Nagar Traffic North Zone. His village is in the Khoyajpur area of ​​Begumganj Upazila of Noakhali.

The deceased was identified as Syed Sohrab Hossain, a resident of the Hamzarbagh area of ​​the Panchlaish police station in Bahauddin Nagar.

Sadequr Rahman, inspector (investigation) of Panchlaish police station and officer-in-charge of Chattogram Medical College police outpost, said four people were injured in the train-bus-autorickshaw collision at Jhautla railway station were brought to Chattogram Medical College hospital.

The on-duty doctor declared them dead. The condition of the other two injured in the same incident is also critical, doctors said.

One of them was admitted by the on-duty doctor in ward number 24 and the other number 28.
