Truck-Motorcycle collision in Dinajpur, killed 2
Two people have been killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a motorcycle in Dinajpur's Fulbari Upazila. Another was also injured at that time. The accident took place at the Nimtala intersection of the Upazila around 1 am on Thursday.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Fulbari Police Station Ashraful Islam confirmed the matter.
The names of the two victims were not immediately known.
According to the locals, a truck was heading towards Dhaka on Thursday. On the other hand, the motorcycle was heading towards Dinajpur. The truck and the motorcycle collided head-on when they reached the Nimtala junction of Fulbari Upazila around 1 am.
Two motorcyclists were killed on the spot. Another was injured. He was rescued and admitted to Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital. Police said his condition was critical.
