Corona death rise alarmingly in Europe: WHO

In Europe, the daily death rate from coronavirus infection is increasing rapidly. According to the World Health Organization, the daily death toll from corona in Europe is rising by about 40 percent compared to last week.

WHO spokesman Dr. Margaret Harris said the number of corona cases in France, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Russia had risen by a third. Noticing with concern hospitals ’intensive care centers are starting to fill up with sick patients.

In Russia 320 people died in a single day on Tuesday, October 27. The death toll in the country has risen to 26,589 people. Total 16,550 people infected in Russia in one day.

In such a situation, the country's authorities have made it mandatory to wear masks in all kinds of public gatherings.

In Italy, 221 people have died in the last 24 hours. The number of corona attacks and deaths in the country is increasing at an alarming rate.

In the last 24 hours, 22,000 people have been infected in Italy. Protests start in several Italian cities on Monday evening over a ban on corona infections.

Traders are reluctant to accept the lockdown, even though corona infections have increased at an alarming rate.

The death toll in Austria, another European country, exceeded 1,000 on Tuesday.

Corona infections and deaths have risen in the past two weeks as European countries have "lagged behind" in enforcing sanctions, a World Health Organization spokesman Mr. Harris said.

He said, ‘We see less number of victims, but you will not see the actual situation overnight. Steps must be taken for this.
