Once again, the activity of monsoon winds has decreased a bit. So the rain has also decreased. In this situation, the daytime temperature will rise slightly, the Meteorological Department said.

The morning of Thursday, July 8 was very sunny in different parts of the country including Dhaka. There is also wind.

The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded in Chuadanga and Khulna, both of which recorded 34.5 degrees Celsius. Today, meteorologists think it will increase a bit.

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is moderately active over Bangladesh and moderate over the North Bay.

Meteorologist Hafizur Rahman said light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusts are likely in many parts of Chattogram, Barisal and Khulna divisions and some parts of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 9am on Thursday. At the same time, there may be moderate to heavy rainfall in some parts of the country.

At this time, the daytime temperature may rise slightly across the country and the nighttime temperature may remain almost unchanged, the meteorologist said.

Khulna received the heaviest rainfall in the last 24 hours from 6am on Wednesday to 6am on Thursday, with the Meteorological Department recording 105 mm of rainfall. Dhaka received 4 mm of rain at that time.
