22 more people die of coronavirus

In the last 24 hours, 22 more people have died of coronavirus in the country. With this, the number of deaths due to the virus in the country increased to 5,577 people. Of these, 17  were men and five were women. All of them died at the hospital.

This information was given in a press release signed by  Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department of Health  Professor  Nasima Sultana on Tuesday afternoon, October 13.

At the same time, another 1,537 new cases of coronavirus have been identified, the statement said. As a result, the total number of identified patients in the country stood at 3,81,875 people. In the last 24 hours, 14,021 samples were collected in 109 laboratories to detect coronavirus. Of these, 13,815 samples were tested. So far, the total number of sample tests has stood at 20 lakh and 98 thousand 36.

In the last 24 hours, 1,482 people have recovered. With this, the total number of healthy people stood at two lakh and 95 thousand 873 people.

The rate of patient identification compared to the sample test in 24 hours is 11.13 percent and the rate of patient identification compared to the sample test so far is 18.17 percent. The recovery rate is 77.70 percent and the mortality rate is 1.46 percent compared to the patient identified.
