In the last 24 hours, 10 more people have died in the country due to the novel coronavirus. The death toll has risen to 8,239. Besides, 388 more people have been newly infected in the country. A total of five lakh 39 thousand 153 people have been affected by corona in the country. One thousand 717 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of four lakh 85 thousand 290 people in the country recovered from corona.

In the last 24 hours, 14,999 samples were tested in 206 labs. Besides, 15 thousand 402 samples have been collected. So far, a total of 37 lakh 92 thousand 241 samples have been tested in the country.
The first death from coronavirus in the country occurred on March 18 last year. Then on the 38th day of April 14 last year, the number of Covid-19 patients stood at one thousand.
