The number of fatal corona cases and deaths continues to rise. In the last 24 hours, another 8,941 people have died from the virus in world. At the same time, four lakh 28 thousand 801 new patients have been identified.

The data was found on the World Statistics website WorldoMeters on Monday, July 26.

According to the latest data from WorldoMeters, 19 crore 48 lakh 1 thousand 209 patients have been identified with corona in world so far. Of these, 41 lakh 74 thousand 867 people died. And a total of 17 crore 67 lakh 49 thousand 905 people have recovered from this virus.

The United States still top of the world in corona infections and deaths. Corona has so far identified 3 crore 51 lakh 99 thousand 465 people in the country. Six lakh 26 thousand 762 of them died. And two crore 95 lakh 11 thousand 909 people have recovered.

India is in the second position in the list. So far, 3 crore 14 lakh 9 thousand 639 people have been infected by corona in the country. Four lakh 20 thousand 996 of them died.

In third place is the Latin American country Brazil. However, the country is in the second position in terms of death. The death toll there so far stands at five lakh 49 thousand 999 people. Besides, one crore 68 lakh 86 thousand 663 people have been identified as infected in the country so far.

It is followed by Russia, France, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Argentina, Colombia and Italy.

Bangladesh is now ranked 26th in the list. So far, 11 lakh 64 thousand 635 people have been identified as infected by corona in the country. Of these, 19,274 died.

The first coronavirus was detected in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. The first patient in the country died of corona on January 9, 2020. On January 13 of that year, the first corona patient was identified outside of China in Thailand.

The first corona patient was identified in the country on March 7 last year. After that the situation improved and deteriorated in a few stages. However, the situation in the last few days is the worst.
