A U.S. military drone strike has killed nine people, including six children, in a residential area of ​​Kabul, Afghanistan. Citing eyewitnesses, the US media CNN reported this.

The United States military says a car bomb had exploded at an Iraqi police recruiting center at Kisak, west of Kabul. The dead included six children, including a two-year-old girl. One of the victims' brothers told a local CNN reporter. The deceased have been identified as Jamarai (40), Nasir (30), Jamir (20), Faisal (10), Farzad (9), Armin (4), Benjamin (3), Ayat (2) and Sumaiya (2).

According to the victim, they are a normal family. "We are not IS or Daesh, and it was a family home," he said.

Pictures of the attack site have reached CNN. United States military officials have confirmed the location of the attack. Earlier in the day, the US Central Command said in a statement that civilians had been killed in the attack.

A neighbor of the family, Ahad, said he heard a loud explosion as he entered his house at around 5pm. He later rushed to help put out the fire.
