'June 25 SSC exam rescheduled to June 24 for Padma Bridge inauguration'

All the coaching centers in the country will be closed from June 15 to July 7 for SSC-equivalent examinations, said Education Minister Dipu Moni.

Besides, due to the inauguration of Padma Bridge, the scheduled examination on 25th June will be held on 24th June. The information was given by the Education Minister after a meeting of the Committee on National Monitoring and Law and Order at the Ministry of Education today.

The education minister said 20 lakh 21 thousand 668 students will take part in the SSC-equivalent examination this year. The test will start on June 19 and will continue till July 7.

The examination will be held in 3,790 centers across the country.

She said there are 15 lakh 99 thousand 711 candidates under nine general boards this year.

Apart from this, 2 lakh 68 thousand 495 candidates will take part in Dakhil and 1 lakh 63 thousand 662 candidates will take part in SSC and Dakhil Vocational under Technical Education Board.
