FIFA 2022 World Cup trophy arrives at Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport after 11:15 am Bangladesh time. The trophy came to Dhaka from Pakistan. According to BFF, the trophy will be unveiled at 11:15 a.m. Bangladesh time.  The trophy came on a Coca-Cola chartered flight.

Christian Karembeu, the footballer who won the World Cup against France in 1998, came to Bangladesh with the World Cup trophy. In addition to him, a few other FIFA officials came with the trophy. BFF President Kazi Salauddin received the trophy from them in Bangladesh. He was accompanied by BFF executive member and FIFA council member Mahfuza Akter Kiran and many others.

The trophy is scheduled to go to the President's residence in the afternoon and to the Prime Minister's residence in the evening. At that time, the top 6-7 members of the 21 members of the BFF executive committee are expected to leave. Although the executive members could not go at such a moment, many members were disappointed that the name of a professional person of the federation was on the list. As a result, some members were absent at the airport today for the trophy reception and it is learned that they will not participate in the rest of the trophy-related activities.

It is a dream that Bangladesh will ever play in World Cup football. And winning the World Cup trophy is a big dream. Therefore, such a tour of the World Cup trophy is a great achievement and consolation for Bangladesh. Earlier, the trophy came to Dhaka in 2013.
