A fire broke out at a furniture factory in the capital's North Badda. The fire broke out at 11:55 a.m. on Friday at the furniture factory located at 18 Lane, North Badda. Three units of the fire service are working to control the fire.

Khaleda Yasmin, officer-in-charge of Fire Service and Civil Defense, said this at noon today.

Khaleda Yasmin said, "A fire broke out in a furniture factory at 18 Lane North Badda today. Upon receiving the news, five units of the fire service went there.

However, due to the narrow road, two vehicles could not reach the spot. As a result, efforts are being made to control the fire with three units.

Khaleda Yasmin added, "The cause of the fire is still unknown. The extent of the damage was not immediately known. No casualties have been reported so far.
