A fire broke out in a multi-storey commercial building in Banani area of ​​the capital. Although the first two units worked on fire control, two more units were added as it was a commercial building.

A fire broke out on the third floor of the six-storey building at 11 Banani Road on Tuesday, May 11 at around 11:42 am.

Russell Sikder, a duty officer in the fire service's control room, told that the fire broke out on the third floor of a six-story commercial building.

After receiving the news, two units of the fire service were added to the fire control and later two more units were added and a total of four units are working at the spot.
