Decision to launch flights with India comes next week

Foreign Secretary Masood bin Momen has said that flights with India under Air Bubble will not be launched now. He said a decision could be taken next week on this matter. He told the media on Sunday, August 22 at night.

"Flights with India are not being launched right now," he said.

"The Indian Ministry of Health is examining the proposal made by Bangladesh. We hope a decision will be made next week."

Earlier, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said the flight between Bangladesh and India will start on August 20. However, if not from August 20, the two sides discussed the beginning of August 22.

But in the end the flight was not launched.
