France defeat Portugal in Lisbon

On Saturday night France beat portugal by 1-0 margin in Group 'A' of the League of Nations in Lisbon . The only goal of the match was scored by N'Golo Kanté.

Portugal dropped out from the fight to retain the title. France secured the top spot in the group.

France have 13 points from four wins and one draw in five matches. Portugal with 10 points at number two. Although the points of the two teams are equal, the team of Didier Deschamps will be at the top as they are ahead in the face-to-face battle.

Portugal took a total of 18 shots on goal, six of which were on target. But at the bottom of the post,  Hugo Lloris and the defenders determination portugal did not see the net.

On the other hand, Seven of the 13 shots of the French attacking were on target.
