Many complain that a family member of his or her does not want to eat fruit. So mothers are forced to give juice instead of fruit. Their idea is to meet the nutritional needs of fruit equal to the juice. But, is that really so?

We need to have at least one seasonal fruit on our daily diet. Regular consumption of fruits along with vegetables increases immunity. In addition, the fruit helps to keep our skin and hair beautiful.

It contains Vitamin C, A, Calcium, Potassium, Minerals, and Phytochemicals. Which lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. However, just extracting the ross from the fruit destroys its vitamins, fiber, and potassium. As a result, the food fiber is broken down during the making of juice. As a result, the amount of dietary fiber in the juice is less.

In addition, the glycemic index of the fruit is much lower. The glycemic index is a measure of how fast the sugars in a food increase blood sugar levels. Fruit juice goes into the body quickly due to its high glycemic index. So it is better to eat whole fruit than normal fruit juice.

Excess sugar is often used in making juices, which is harmful to the body. It raises blood sugar levels. It contains fructose, glucose, and laevulose. A lot of fiber can be found by eating fruit with peels; Which prevents constipation.

From an early age, children need to make a habit of feeding fruit. Remember that if you give juice at an early age, the child will not want to eat fruit when he grows up. If you have to give fruit juice, then give priority to homemade fruit juice. It is more beneficial to make the juice by hand or manually without a blender. When making juice at home, give less water, it will retain the natural taste of the fruit. Also, make juice with pulp, that is, do not strain, then you will get some fiber.

Always try to eat local and seasonal fruits. Seasonal fruit nutrition is very beneficial for the body. Fruits of different colors provide us with various nutrients. So there is no substitute for fruit to stay healthy. Eat fruits every day and stay healthy by increasing immunity.
