The hanging body of a young man named Nayan Sharif (18) has been recovered in Kamalapur area of ​​Motijheel. He was working as a security guard for the Metro Rail project.

Police recovered his body from a house in Kamalapur around 12:15 pm on Monday, June 07 and took it to Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital. The doctor on duty there declared him dead.

Motijheel police sub-inspector (SI) Habiz Uddin confirmed the matter.

He said, "After receiving the news, we broke the door of a room of the house No. 3 on Jasimuddin Road in Kamalapur and rescued him hanging." He was later taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Citing locals, SI Habiz Uddin further said, "Initially, I came to know that he committed suicide by hanging himself." The body has been kept in the morgue of the medical college for autopsy. Attempts are being made to know the details, the cause of death will be known after receiving the autopsy report.

Rakibul Hasan Khan, the owner of the house where Nayan used to live, said he rented my house this month. He was working as a security guard of Motijheel Metro Rail. He closes the door to his room after dinner. He did not open the door even after shouting for a long time. When the matter was reported to the police, they came and rescued him and took him to Dhaka Medical College.

He said the village home of the deceased Nayan is in Tarail village of Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj. His father's name is Babu Mia.
