Heavy rain forecast
The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. The department also said that there may be hail somewhere.

In the last 24 hours from 6 am on Sunday to 6 am on Monday, there has been less rain in all the divisions except Khulna and Barisal. Sylhet and Rangpur were prone to rains. The highest rainfall of 53 mm was recorded at Srimangal at that time.

The sky in Dhaka has been cloudy since Monday morning. It also rained heavily till 11:30 pm.

Meteorologist Shahinul Islam said that in the next 24 hours from 9 am on Monday in many places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and in one or two places of Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions there may be temporary rain with gusts. There may also be sporadic hailstorms.

Some parts of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions are likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall (23 to 43 mm per day) and heavy (44 to 88 mm per day).

The meteorologist also said that the weather may be mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies in different parts of the country.

Day and night temperatures across the country could remain almost unchanged on Monday.

At the same time, the trend of storms and rains may continue for the next three days, the Meteorological Department said.

The lowest temperature in the country on Monday was 19.5 degrees Celsius in Dimla and Nikli. The highest temperature in the country on Sunday was 35.8 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi.
