14 lakh students to sit for HSC and equivalent examination

Higher Secondary (HSC) and equivalent examinations will start from December 2. This time 13 lakh 99 thousand 690 students are taking part in the examination under 11 education boards.

Education Minister Dipu Moni has given this information at a press conference held in the conference room of the ministry on Thursday.

Deputy Minister of Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury at the press conference, Secretary of the Department of Technical and Madrasa Aminul Islam Khan, Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Professor Golam Farooq were also present at that time.

The education minister said 13 lakh 99 thousand 690 students are taking part in HSC and equivalent examinations this time.

Of these, 7 lakh 29 thousand 738 are male students and 6 lakh 69 thousand 952 are female students. All the necessary arrangements have been made for proper examination.

Due to the global pandemic, the HSC and equivalent examinations of 2020 were not held.

Students were given Autopass that year. The Ministry of Education has organized this examination this year as the situation in Corona is gradually improving.
