Former Prime Minister and chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan told his supporters at a rally in Lahore to wait for a phone call to attend the rally in Islamabad. He made the call during a speech at the Minar-i-Pakistan in Lahore on Thursday (April 21st).

Speaking for more than an hour, Imran Khan said that if his opponents were wondering what would happen after the Lahore rally, his message to them was that the real PTI work had just begun.

Imran Khan said he would call on all Pakistanis, not just PTI leaders, to take part in the rally. Imran Khan further said that in the village, in the city, wherever you are, everyone should be ready. You wait for my phone call to come to Islamabad.

"I do not want any conflict," he said. "We will not harm our country, but we do not want this 'imported' government," he said. Expressing hope that the movement would be fruitful, Imran Khan said that elections should be held soon.

Imran Khan accused the country's Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja of being biased against the PTI, saying his inclination was so clear that he should be given a post in the PML-N office.

"If you dare, listen to our cases together," he challenged. He said the nation knows who has raised money through the right channels and who is collecting illegal money.

Imran Khan said that what he took from Toshakhana is on record. He also promised to pay 50% of the cost of the state treasury. He also claimed that the PTI government had changed its policy of holding gifts and increased prices by 15-50%. Imran Khan also alleged that propaganda was being run against him. Earlier, at the beginning of his speech, Imran Khan thanked everyone present at the Lahore rally.

A petition has recently been filed in the Islamabad High Court seeking details of the toshakhana. In response to a question, Pakistan's new Prime Minister Shahbaz Imran Khan alleged that he had sold gifts.
