In the last 24 hours, 6,834 more people have died in the world due to the global epidemic Corona (Covid-19). Besides, three lakh 7 thousand 252 people have been identified as newly infected.

The data came from the International Statistics website WorldoMeters on Monday morning, June 14.

According to WorldoMeters, a total of 17 crore 70 lakh 20 thousand 465 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus worldwide so far. Of these, 38 lakh 27 thousand 437 people died. And so far 16 crore 12 lakh 1 thousand 912 people have recovered from Corona.

The United States is still at the top of the list of countries affected by corona in the world. Corona has so far identified 3 crore 43 lakh 35 thousand 239 people in the country. Of these, six lakh 15 thousand 232 people died. And two crore 84 lakh 36 thousand 981 people have recovered.

India is in the second place in the list. The corona of 2 crore 95 lakh 70 thousand 35 people has been identified in the country so far. Three lakh 77 thousand 61 people died. And two crore 82 lakh 72 thousand 780 people have recovered.

Brazil is in the third place. So far, the corona of one crore 74 lakh 54 thousand 861 people has been identified in the country. Four lakh 88 thousand 404 people have died. And one crore 58 lakh 54 thousand 264 people have recovered.

France is fourth, Turkey is fifth, Russia is sixth, the United Kingdom is seventh, Italy is eighth, Argentina is ninth and Colombia is tenth.

Bangladesh now ranks 32nd in the list of infections and deaths. So far, corona of 8 lakh 29 thousand 972 people have been identified in the country. Among them 13 thousand 172 people have died. And seven lakh 68 thousand 830 people have become healthy.

The first coronavirus was detected in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. The first patient in the country died of corona on January 9, 2020. On January 13 of that year, the first corona patient was identified outside of China in Thailand. Later it gradually spread to different countries.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global health emergency on January 30, 2020 in the wake of the corona outbreak. Then, on February 2, the first death of a patient in Corona outside China took place in the Philippines. On March 11 of the same year, the World Health Organization declared Corona a global epidemic.

Although coronavirus initially caused widespread deaths in Europe and later in the United States, the epidemic is now largely under control in those countries. However, the death toll in Corona continues to rise in several South Asian countries, including India.
