'Intensify of winter in most parts of country will increase'

According to the Meteorological Department, winter is likely to intensify in most parts of the country from Sunday night, January 02.

According to the department, the temperature in the country may drop further from tonight. Cold wave areas can also be spread. Over the next few days, the winter may continue to increase.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature has dropped by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius in different parts of the country in the last 2 or 1 days.

In addition to winter, the fog has increased in the northern part of the country.

Fog has increased especially in riverine areas. Today, the cold wave may start in Jessore, Chuadanga, and surrounding districts. In the next few days, the cold wave may spread to the north and southwest regions of the country.

Srimangal recorded 9.1 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature in Dhaka was 15 degrees Celsius.

Omar Farooq, a meteorologist at the Meteorological Department, said the clouds had cleared from the skies of Bangladesh.

As a result, the sun has started to rise during the day. And at night the temperature has started to drop.
