James sued against Banglalink

Top music star of the country James has filed a case against Banglalink for violating copyright law. He filed the case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Emrul Kayesh on Wednesday.

The court, after recording his statement, ordered the accused to appear on November 30. James came to the court around 11:30 in the morning.

Additional State Counsel (PP) Tapas Kumar Pal confirmed the information.

He said that without the permission of James, Banglalink has been using his songs in various mediums including welcome tunes and advertisements. This action of Banglalink is a violation of copyright law. That's why James has filed a lawsuit.

On September 19, James came to the court with his lawyer to file the case. At that time, the court dismissed the case and advised him to go to the concerned police station.
