Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's Twitter account has been shut down after she made controversial remark one after another about election of West Bengal.

A Reuters report said the actress, known as a staunch supporter of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, broke Twitter rules by "spreading hatred" in her speech.

The 'Queen' actress's tweet has repeatedly expressed frustration over the BJP's failure to win the West Bengal Assembly elections.

In a tweet on Monday, she demanded presidential rule in West Bengal. The pro-BJP actress also compared West Bengal to Kashmir after the Trinamool's landslide victory in the election results announced on Sunday.

Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is also known as a staunch supporter of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Indian media also reported that a lawyer had already lodged a complaint with the Kolkata police against Kangana.

Complaining lawyer Sumit Chowdhury said, “Kangana Ranaut has made insulting remarks against Bengal and Bengali people. She wants to spread unrest. She is trying to spread unrest by speaking in support of NRC and CAA.”
