Condition of Khaleda undergoing treatment at CCU is stable

BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital, is in the same condition as before. She is still taking artificial oxygen. Diabetes is the same as before. There is also some problem in the kidneys.

After being kept in the CCU of the hospital, she is being treated for post-corona complications, said Begum Zia's medical board doctor Prof. Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.

He said Begum Zia has been in CCU for the last 14 days after being admitted to Evercare Hospital. Although she is free from coronavirus infection, she is suffering from chronic diseases like arthritis, diabetes as well as heart and kidney complications.

A 10-member medical board headed by Shahabuddin Talukder has reviewed Khaleda Zia's latest condition.

Dr. Zahid said that doctors are taking action after conducting intensive examination on various diseases of Begum Zia's post-covid. There are no more updates. It is a long term treatment. As a physician, some predictions cannot be made right now.

Begum Khaleda Zia was infected with coronavirus on April 11. She was admitted to Evercare Hospital on April 27. She was taken to CCU on May 03 due to shortness of breath.
