Pickup-Autorickshaw collision in Teknaf, killed 2
Two passengers were killed in a head-on collision between an NGO mini pickup and a CNG-powered autorickshaw on Cox's Bazar Marine Drive.
The accident took place on Marine Drive in Teknaf around 10 am on Thursday, January 20.
Two CNG-powered autorickshaw passengers were killed. Two more people were injured in the incident. The injured have been shifted to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital. Their condition is reported to be critical.
The names of those killed were not immediately available.
Teknaf Model Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Hafizur Rahman confirmed the matter. He said a police team went to the spot.
Rescue operations are still underway.
