Man's body found in Hathazari

Police have recovered the dead body of a young man named Prince Das (28) from a rented house in Chattogram's Hathazari. The body was recovered from a house in a three-storey building next to the Animal and Livestock Hospital in the Fatika area of ​​Ward no. 5 of the municipality around 10 pm on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Prince Das, son of Sunil Das of Burishchar Union. However, his family lived in the Nandirhat area of ​​Upazila. He was reportedly an employee of Dish Cable Operator. Police have sent the body to Chattogram Medical College morgue for autopsy.

Police said some people, including Prince Das, lived on the third floor of the building. The owner of the house reported the matter to 999 when the stench came out of the house around 9 pm on Thursday. Hathazari police later recovered the body hanging from a window grill with the help of locals and sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police said no one else was in the house. The door was also closed. The window of the house was cut and the body was recovered.

Officer-in-charge of Hathazari Police Station Muhammad Rafiqul Islam told on that some youth live in this rented house.
