Miscreants' firing in the capital killed at least 2

Two people were shot dead by miscreants in front of Islamia Hospital in the capital's Shahjahanpur area. Another was injured. The incident took place on Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as Jahidul Islam, 54, and Preeti, 24. Jahidul was in the car. His driver Munna (26) was injured in the shooting.
The three were rescued at around 11:15 pm and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared them dead. Injured Munna is undergoing treatment there.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp in-charge (inspector) Bachchu Mia has confirmed the matter.
He said the body was kept in the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy. The matter has been reported to the concerned police station.
