15 unexploded cocktails recovered in Munshiganj

Police have recovered 15 unexploded cocktails from the Maheshpur area of Mollakandi Union in Munshiganj. Abul Kalam Azad, officer-in-charge of Munshiganj district police's Detective Branch (DB) confirmed this at noon on Thursday.
He said the cocktails were found in two buckets in a bush near the canal around 8:30 am. It is believed that the cocktails were made for the purpose of sabotage centering on the Union Parishad elections. Even before this, the supporters of the two chairman candidates of Mollakandi Union Parishad were rioting. There was also a cocktail explosion at that time.
The cocktails have been kept in police custody. Will be deactivated with the permission of the court - said Abul Kalam Azad.
