Truck-Microbus collision in Natore

A man named Touhidul Islam Sagar (25) was killed in a collision between a truck and a microbus at Baraigram in Natore. One foreign national was injured. The incident took place at Gunaighati on the Natore-Pabna highway around 8 am on Tuesday, February 09.
The deceased was identified as Sagar, son of Abdur Razzak of Khola Colony village under Ishwardi upazila of Pabna. He is known to be the driver of the microbus. Injured Garzina is a foreman at the Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant and a Russian citizen.
Officer-in-charge of Bonpara Highway Police Station Khandaker Shafiqul Islam said a Dhaka-bound microbus (Dhaka Metro Cha 19-3239) collided with a Natore-Pabna-bound truck (Dhaka Metro T 13-1790) on the Natore-Pabna highway in Gunaighati area in the morning. The microbus is crumpled.
Upon receiving the news, the fire service and police came to the spot and rescued Sagar injured and took him to Baraigram Upazila Health Complex. He died while undergoing treatment there. Garzina, a foreigner, was admitted to a local clinic.
The driver of the truck is Fugitive.
